Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in a timely manner
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean (maintain) kitchen and work areas
-Education: Completion of secondary school is required
-Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience
If candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience a post-secondary certificate is required.
-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and passion for the industry in a high-volume, full service restaurant. Overtime required
-Personal suitability: Team player, initiative, client focus, dependability, reliability, must be responsible and enthusiastic.
Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 hourly, 40 – 45 hours per week.
Benefits: Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate, extended medical insurance, dental insurance, 50% off meals when working and 20% off when not working.
Important Information: Position requires flexibility in scheduling-shifts, evening or weekend hours as needed. **Shifts may vary with some days starting at early morning and others finishing at late-night** Overtime may be required.
