The Manager, Student Experience Systems is responsible for the evaluation, planning, design, development, integration, testing, vendor management, systems integration, implementation and management of student information systems employed throughout Student Success & Engagement (SSE). This position plays a pivotal role in the ongoing assessment of business needs in SSE, leading all upgrades, new releases, as well as the development of new functionality and new projects related to the student systems. The incumbent is responsible for identifying areas for business process enhancement, recommends revised procedures or policies and develops an implementation plan for enhancements. The incumbent is also responsible for reporting needed to support informed business decision and training for all relevant user groups. The incumbent will work with central/institutional and local system administrators to ensure optimal systems performance and quality user experience.
The successful incumbent will possess a four year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field, including training in systems technologies, business analysis and project management. The Manager will have demonstrated experience in computerized student systems & relational databases plus experience managing groups around projects and building/maintaining stakeholder relationships.
