Position Summary :
The Faculty of Music, Wilfrid Laurier University, requires part-time contract academic staff (CAS) to teach the course listed below in the Winter Term 2020 to be taught at the Waterloo Campus. Following is a brief description of the course to indicate the content and level of difficulty. We would be happy to provide additional information that may be required.
MU200  Managing an Arts-Centered Career – 0.5 credit This course will help prepare students to succeed in an arts-centered career. The course will focus on two primary areas: 1) personal aspirations and career planning for work centered in the arts; and 2) professional and organizational strategies, including developing elements of a business plan. The successful candidate will have an MBA. Winter Term. Tuesdays 7:00 – 9:50pm.

Rate of pay for 0.5 undergraduate and graduate intramural courses: $ 7,575.00 plus 4% in lieu of benefits and 4% in lieu of vacation. Total classroom hours for a 0.5 credit weight course: 36 hours.
