The federal lobbying registry saw its biggest number of new filings last week since the summer, as the election-induced lull appears to be over.

Collectively, there were 39 new registrations filed last week, which saw the House resume sitting for the first since June. All were single registrations for different client organizations except for one — Reconciliation Inc. was named in three new registrations.

By consultant, 11 of these registrations were made by Steven Zuber of David Pratt & Associates. Serge Alexandre Buy (Flagship Solutions) is a distant second with three registrations, while Kait LaForce of Summa Strategies and Roberto Chavez of Sussex Strategy had two each. David Pratt & Associates won the week with 11 new filings; Earnscliffe Strategy, Flagship Solutions and Sussex Strategy were all tied for second with three each.

Christopher Cochlin of Cassidy Levy Kent registered for the Dairy Farmers of Canada to lobby about trade rules and market access with Global Affairs and Agriculture Canada. Cochlin worked in trade law and policy of Global affairs over a dozen years ago.
