Canada is eager to welcome the world for World Environment Day on June 5, 2017. As part of the celebrations, the Great Canadian Video Contest is well under way.

The Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, is extending the deadline for Canadians between the ages of 18 and 25 to put together a short, two-minute video to show how they connect with nature, protect the environment, and take action on climate change. Contest participants have until May 26th to enter the contest and submit their video.

Two participants from the video contest will be randomly selected to join Minister McKenna at the World Environment Day events. Individuals who have already entered the contest or who are interested in participating can check out the revised contest rules and regulations and the entry form on the video contest web page.

Quotes
