Gross domestic product by industry, November 2017
Real gross domestic product increased 0.4% in November, with widespread growth across industries as 17 of 20 industrial sectors increased.
Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, December 2017
The Industrial Product Price Index edged down 0.1% in December, mainly due to lower prices for energy and petroleum products and primary non-ferrous metal products. The Raw Materials Price Index decreased 0.9%, primarily due to lower prices for crude energy products.
Consulting Services Price Index, third quarter 2017
The Consulting Services Price Index (COSPI) decreased 3.2% in the third quarter, following a 0.8% increase in the second quarter. This represents the largest quarterly decrease since the index began in 2014.
Railway carloadings, November 2017
The volume of rail freight carried in Canada totalled 31.6 million tonnes in November, up 1.9% from November 2016.
