Join the award-winning Toronto Public Service as Community Oral Health Outreach Worker within our Toronto Public Health Division. Reporting to the Dental Supervisor, this employee will be responsible for connecting with staff from other community-based organizations and working with staff from other Toronto Public health programs (e.g. the Peer Nutrition Program (PNP), Community Nutrition Assistants, Healthy Babies Healthy Children etc.) and staff from other community organisations. The aim of this program is to conduct community outreach, and deliver health promotion on a variety of oral health issues including early childhood tooth decay and seniors’ oral health care. The audience includes parents and caregivers of children less than 7 years of age, participants of other Toronto Public Health programs, seniors groups and the general public.
