Tenure-Track Position – Finance
The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics (Lazaridis School) at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in the Finance area, commencing July 1, 2022. This position is subject to budgetary approval.
Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in Finance, although ABD near completion (within one year) will be considered. Candidates should have a strong record or promise in both research and teaching in the area.
Successful candidates for the position must have:
- Demonstrated research potential in the field of Finance,
- Ability (a) to publish in top-tier business journals and (b) to maintain a highly productive research agenda,
- Ability to effectively teach finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MBA, PhD, and MFin) levels;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate the relevance of their research to a business audience.
