Date set for Santa Claus parade – Cochrane Times Post

Mark your calendar for the Santa Claus parade. The annual event is scheduled for Nov. 29 at 6 p.m.

Council approved the parade date at the Oct. 28 meeting. This year’s theme is “Christmas in Hockeyville”.

The parade route will run from the Scotia Bank parking lot to Shoppers Drug Mart. To ensure the safety of participants and staff, Ontario Avenue will be closed from 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Director of recreation and culture Kari Kluke said a sensory friendly zone will be incorporated at the beginning of the route until the Vyybe storefront.
