The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights conducted it’s sixth periodic review of Canada on its implementation of the provisions of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights this week.
The Canadian Feminist Alliance for International Action produced a report specifically looking at women’s economic, social and cultural rights and their implementation in Canada. FAFIA sent two members, Shelagh Day and Sandra Lockhart, to attend the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights’ (CESCR) review of Canada.
