Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spent Monday on a very uncomfortable visit to Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc – that’s the Kamloops-area First Nation that he twice blew off in order to take a Tofino vacation on the first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. In a joint appearance with Trudeau , Tk’emlups Chief Rosanne Casimir sat right next to the prime minister as she described the “shock, anger, sorrow and disbelief” of him picking the beach over them.
