Mohawk Council of Akwesasne – Will Writing Series

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Office of Vital Statistics is pleased to announce a series of three Will Writing sessions open to the community on November 5th, November 12th and November 19th. These informative sessions will take place at the Kawehno:ke Recreation Center from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with lunch provided while supplies last.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into the importance of wills, including what constitutes a will, who should consider creating one, the requirements for validity, selecting an executor, and understanding how the Indian Act may impact estate planning.
