Good Wednesday morning,

— The U.S. land border is reopening — to fully vaccinated Canadians — next month. U.S. officials last night announced that both land and ferry borders with Canada and Mexico would reopen for the first time since March 2020. The exact date has not been named, and officials are still working out what type of documentation will be accepted. (Unlike Canada, the U.S. has not approved the mixing of vaccines, nor has it approved AstraZeneca.)

— Kady O’Malley looks ahead to the rest of the day in politics with iPolitics AM: “Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will fire up his webcam to ‘virtually deliver remarks’ at the Malmö International Forum on Holocaust Remembrance and Combating Antisemitism, a one-day conference hosted by the Swedish government.”

— Legal conflict delaying Paul departure: Despite announcing her resignation as leader of the Green Party more than two weeks ago, Annamie Paul has not yet left the post. The reason is, reportedly, because her lawyer is still negotiating with party lawyers to settle a legal conflict. CBC News has more.
