OTTAWA – October 26, 2015 – The Devlin Gailus Westaway (“DGW”) Board of Directors is delighted to announce the appointment of Tim Watson as a Director and Shareholder of DGW.

Prior to joining DGW, Tim gained invaluable experience as a consultant in a boutique firm specializing in Specific Claims research, negotiations and economic development and served as the Program Manager of the Lesser Slave Lake Indian Regional Council Treaty and Aboriginal Rights Research Program.

Currently, Tim works with First Nations and Tribal Councils across western Canada preparing and negotiating Specific Claims and advising on issues such as Aboriginal and Treaty rights, governance, consultation, natural resource management, economic development, impact benefit agreements, revenue sharing, and consultation. He also advises clients on the negotiation and implementation of modern treaties.
