by ahnationtalk on May 15, 202447 Views

Today, Statistics Canada is releasing data related to new entrants to college and university (entry cohorts of 2015 to 2021) by Indigenous identity. This release includes information on the number of new students in Canada by Indigenous identity, educational qualification, field of study, age group, and gender. Data are available at the national, provincial and territorial levels.

The data used for the calculation of these counts are derived from the Postsecondary Student Information System (PSIS) and the Census of Population.
