Thunder Bay – Weather Desk – As December 4, 2024, unfolds, Northern Ontario’s First Nation communities are experiencing the full embrace of winter.

There are weather advisories in effect for much of the southern parts of the region with freezing drizzle warnings in effect for highways east of Sioux Lookout, Ignace, Fort Frances and Atikokan. There are no weather advisories in effect for Thunder Bay.

Here’s a detailed weather forecast for Marten Falls, Wasaho Cree Nation (Fort Severn), Fort Hope, Sachigo Lake, KI (Big Trout Lake), Sandy Lake, Pikangikum, Cat Lake, Kasabonika Lake, Neskantaga (Lansdowne House), Summer Beaver, Peawanuck, and Attawapiskat for December 4, 5, and 6, 2024.
