Rally Expected To Draw In Indigenous Crowd Tomorrow

Ottawa, Ontario Dec 3rd, 2018 – Tomorrow Indigenous communities will gather together on Parliament Hill to let the Canadian Government know that they want a stop put to the framework.  Media is welcome to attend and cover the event. Any requests for interviews with youth council members, the Deputy Grand Chief Gordon Peters or Grand Chief Joel Abram can be arranged by Ira Timothy, Communications Coordinator.

Set up at the hill will begin at 9am, people will begin to gather at 10, and the rally kicks off at 11am.  After a series of speakers and some drum music the rally will begin roughly at 1:15pm and the gathered people will march on the road to the AFN being held at the Westin Hotel.  Upon arrival two youth council members will be making a speech to the gathered chiefs as well as Deputy Grand Chief Gordon Peters.
