Youth with Disabilities: Education and Employment, 2022
In 2022, youth aged 15 to 24 years with disabilities (65.1%) were less likely than their counterparts without disabilities (69.7%) to be enrolled in school. Additionally, 41.8% of youth with disabilities were employed, compared with 50.5% of youth without disabilities.
Monthly estimates of business openings and closures, October 2024
In October, the business opening rate edged down 0.1 percentage points to 4.7%, following a similar decline in the previous two months. The business closure rate edged up 0.1 percentage points to 4.8% in October after experiencing a similar decline in September. While the business opening rate was equal to its 2015-to-2019 historical average, the business closure rate settled 0.2 percentage points above its historical average.

Dairy statistics for November are now available for Canada and the provinces.
Wholesale trade: Early indicator, December 2024
Statistics Canada is providing an advance estimate of sales in the wholesale trade sector for December. The advance results for December indicate that wholesale sales (excluding petroleum, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons and excluding oilseed and grain) rose 0.1%. The increase partly reflects higher sales in the motor vehicle and motor vehicle parts and accessories subsector.
