Railway carloadings, November 2022
Canadian railways carried 32.1 million tonnes of freight during November, up 10.1% compared with November 2021. Higher carloadings of Canadian grains contributed substantially to this second straight month of year-over-year growth.

Oilseed crushing statistics, December 2022
Oilseed processors crushed 826 445 tonnes of canola in December. Oil production totalled 345 687 tonnes, while meal production totalled 485 798 tonnes.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, December 2022
Millers milled 264 866 tonnes of wheat in December, while wheat flour production totalled 201 472 tonnes.
Monthly Survey of Manufacturing: Flash estimate, December 2022
Given the rapidly evolving economic situation, Statistics Canada is providing an advance estimate of sales in the manufacturing sector for December. Advance results indicate that total manufacturing sales fell 1.8% in December. The largest decreases were in the petroleum and coal product, wood product and primary metal industries.
