Timmins Indigenous group to highlight Indigenous artist in logo redesign contest – TimminsToday.com

Timmins Indigenous Organizations Committee is looking for an Indigenous artist from the Timmins-area to create a new logo, with the winner receiving a $500 gift card of their choice

TIOC’s vision is to increase awareness and respect of the diverse Indigenous cultures within the Timmins community, while its mission to provide opportunities and resources for the community to celebrate and she the diverse Indigenous history of Northern Ontario.

The committee is hoping the new logo design can incorporate both its vision and mission statements. Along with the logo, TIOC is asking artists include a short paragraph explaining how the design captures both statements.
