All Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) citizens are welcome to observe the next business meeting of the Provisional Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario (PCMNO). The PCMNO meeting will be held on Thursday November 7, 2024, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time (EST). A draft agenda will be available on the MNO’s website before the meeting.

MNO citizen observers must register in advance, and late registration cannot be accommodated. Please register now to avoid disappointment.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 12:00 PM (EST). After your registration is verified by MNO Registry, you will receive a confirmation email containing a personalized link to join the webinar. When you receive your personalized link, please do not share it with others. It is created unique to your registration, and only one login per person is possible. Logins from multiple devices could result in you being removed from the meeting. A reminder email will also be sent to you one hour before the meeting starts. If you do not receive your link prior to the start of the meeting, please check your email’s junk mail folder.

Citizens will be able to join the PCMNO meeting beginning at 9:00 AM.

In-Camera: There will be times during the meeting when business is conducted “in camera” to discuss confidential items, e.g. sensitive legal or employment matters. If it is determined that the meeting will go “in camera,” citizen observers will be required to leave the meeting while the PCMNO is in-camera. MNO support staff will email all citizen observers to inform them when they can rejoin the session.

The PCMNO encourages all MNO citizens to attend and observe its meetings. As this is not a town hall, please know that the Q&A and chat features will not be available, and advance questions will not be entertained. We appreciate your understanding related to the points above.

For Zoom support during this meeting, please email CommunityRelations@metisnation.org. A member of the Community Relations Team will respond promptly.
Any technical questions prior to the meeting can be sent to Russell Ott at RussellO@metisnation.org or 416-420-3859.

Please note:

These sessions are not open to the public.
