The next issue of the Journal of Aboriginal Management (JAM) will focus on the next generation of leaders. Themed Next Gen Leaders: Guiding Today, Empowering Tomorrow, AFOA Canada is seeking contributions of articles or advertisements to be published September 2024. Some questions that may be considered in this issue:
- Who are the Indigenous youth currently driving change in their communities?
- How can we create space and the conditions for Indigenous youth to thrive?
- How can we empower or mentor Indigenous youth in leadership roles?
- What roles do Indigenous youth have in shaping the future of Indigenous communities?
- What advice would provide to Indigenous youth as they carry forward into the future our collective torch?
