Share your artistic vision and contribute to MNO’s strategy for a sustainable future!

The MNO is committed to developing a Climate Change Strategy that genuinely reflects the voices, values, and priorities of Métis citizens.

To ensure this strategy is created by the Métis, for the Métis—with content that reflects our experiences, perspectives, and hopes—it is being crafted in close consultation with MNO advisory groups and draws from insights gained through direct engagement with MNO citizens.

To bring these perspectives to life, we invite our younger citizens to use their creativity and passion to visually express them.

Join the MNO Climate Change Art Contest!

The MNO is hosting an art contest for Métis youth ages 29 and under. We invite you to share artwork that reflects your perspective on climate change—whether it’s about your relationships to the land and waters, the environmental impacts of climate change, or the actions we’re taking as a Métis people to address these challenges.

We welcome all interpretations and artistic visions on these topics. Selected artwork will be featured in the final Climate Change Strategy document, and there will be a prize draw for 3 sets of Apple AirPods for everyone who submits their artwork!

How to Participate

The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2025. MNO citizens 29 years of age and younger can submit their artwork by clicking below.
