- Scope of Work
The Vendor shall research and review appropriate government, academic and industry reports/literature, as well as the publications and practices of jurisdictions comparable to the Province of Ontario, to determine, analyze and summarize the current best practices, established and cutting-edge science/engineering, industry trends and mitigation strategies (and the impacts thereof) for managing risks from legacy oil and gas wells in Ontario. The Vendor shall document such work in a comprehensive literature review and jurisdictional scan report to be provided to the Ministry (the “LRJS Report”) that provides valuable insight for the development and implementation of an action plan. - The province will use the LRJS to support evidence-based decision-making related to the development of management and mitigation strategies to address risks from legacy oil and gas wells and gas migration.
